The Inspiration Behind our Newest Artist Collection of Nuscheli
Hauptli Haus Kids was started by an interior designer, an artist and mother. Each collection is carefully curated, with color selection being the one of the most important criteria next to the sustainable production and lifecycle approach Hauptli Haus Kids has committed to.
This new collection is called the “Artist Collection”, and it’s the second color series Hauptli Haus Kids has launched. The previous “Basic Collection” will continue to be available to our customers.
An artist is most inspired by other artists and creative people.
Inspiration is personal, but a public tool to communicate.
Stephanie Hauptli, the creative mind behind Hauptli Haus Kids drew upon artist references she has been carrying along in her career and personal life since she was a six year old girl living in Paris and frequently visiting the Centre Pompidou with her parents and brother. These inspirations had been, unknowingly at first, apart of her creative material while dreaming up this new Artist Collection of Nuscheli.
Hilma af Klint
A Swedish artist who’s paintings were among the first European abstract art. The colors are playful and the compositions engaging.
Eileen Gray
An Irish Architect and Furniture Designer, but mostly a Pioneer in the modern movement in architecture. Her pieces are boldly elegant.
Georgia O’Keeffe
An American artist, mostly known for her her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers and New Mexico landscapes. Equally inspiring is her home Abiquiú she built in New Mexico for herself.
